The Bundanon Trust’s Heads Up – The Listening Project is created and performed by the 60+ Contemporary Performance Ensemble, ten local seniors who came together in 2017 after attending a series of performance and art workshops that were part of the Bundanon Trust’s community engagement program.

The creators/performers consider the importance of trees in their lives; not just any trees but very specific and beloved arboreal figures in the Shoalhaven Heads landscape. Underpinning the project is the understanding that deep and non-judgemental listening is important for individual and community health. Trees illustrate this capacity in abundance.

The ensemble, steered by director Annette Tesoriero of Shoalhaven Health and Arts, has been developing this project since January 2018.
