Shoalhaven Awakening is a grassroots movement which started in 2008. We are about uniting Christians in our area from all walks of life and denominations to join together at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre for an afternoon of powerful Praise and Worship in the middle of our city. Our prayer is that the powerful presence of God will be evident which changes, heals restores and brings joy, peace ,love, faith and hope into our lives and strength to our community. We Have Family Fun Community Markets starting at 11.00am on the entertainment centre grounds with BBQ, jumping castles, markets stalls ,entertainment and then the worship service at 3.00pm -5.00pm ALL WELCOME!!

David Holmes (Electric Guitar)- Music Director B.Mus, Ass.Dip Perf Arts Jazz, Creative Arts Dip. in Ministry, Producer, Arranger, Professional Musician, Music Director, Producer, Song Writer, Arranger, Worship Leader, Lecturer and Teacher. David’s career as a professional musician and his ministry within Churches is so extensive that he gives a level of excellence few surpass in all he does. David brings with him untold experience both on a professional and spiritual level. He was Darlene Zschech’s (Hillsong) Music Director for a number of years and still tours internationally with her. David’s gift in playing the guitar has changed lives around the world - all for the glory of God. Christine Moussa (Worship Leader) Chris has had many years’ success as a worship leader and singer in the secular and Christian music professions and is known widely as one of Australia’s best worship leaders. She has written worship music & taught singing to adults and children, as well as leading and training material, taught worship workshops, lectured at Bible College, been a session singer and songwriter. Chris has travelled the world singing and leading worship as far away as Russia and as close as Singapore on many occasions and been a vocalist on over 30 recording projects.

Tim Hamblim (Drums)

Matt Tennikoff (Bass Guitar) Matt has been playing Bass Guitar for 12 years. He has been blessed with the opportunity to travel the world playing with artists and groups such as Darlene Zschech, Hillsong Church and Hillsong United. He has also recorded bass guitar on many albums in both the secular and Christian industries.

Tee Tofa (Keys) (Backing Vox) Are singers from local Shoalhaven Churches.

Kids Band - We have a Kids band made up of 8 children from different churches throughout the Shoalhaven region leading us all in 2 songs . Go the kids!
