Ticket refunds, exchanges and right of refusal

Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre abides by the Live Performance Australia, Code of Practice for the Ticketing of Live Entertainment in Australia. Tickets for a future performance can usually be exchanged for another performance of that show, subject to availability and payment of any ticket price difference. Management has the right to refuse any ticket exchanges. Refunds are generally not available except under exceptional circumstances outlined in the Live Performance Australia Code of Practice for Ticketing. Click here for the Code.

Ticketing fees & charges

There is no fee for counter bookings. However, internet bookings incur a $2 transaction fee and telephone bookings incur a $5.50 transaction fee. This charge is non-refundable in the event a refund meets the requirements outlined above. These are not per ticket fees.
A mailing fee of $5 per order applies. Exchange of tickets incur a $4.50 fee per transaction (not per ticket).


Babes in arms

Babies are not generally admitted into shows other than those targeted at Children 2-8 yrs. In this case, kids under 2 and with an adult will be admitted for free in most cases accordingly.


We love kids here at Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre! Any child aged from 2-18 years is entitled to our kids’ discounts, where applicable.


If you’re currently studying full time and older than 12 years you’re entitled to our student discount rate. Just remember, the Box Office will ask for proof of full time study. From time to time, we have other special deals for students so keep a look out for advertising or ask at the Box Office for more details.

Pensioner Concession and Seniors’ Card holders

Discounted prices are available for selected shows for Pensioner Concession Card holders, Seniors’ Card holders and full time students.

Concession Discounts for Children’s Shows

For children’s shows where there is a Student Group 8+ price, the concession price only applies to Pensioners and Seniors, a single student/child must pay the regular price. Proof of entitlement must be included when booking and may be requested prior to admission.

Rights of Entry


If you arrive late, and the show has already started, there is every chance, depending on the show, that you will be refused entry or you might not be able to go in until there is a break in the program, such as intermission.

Cameras and Recording Equipment

Digital cameras and recording equipment are not permitted during performances.

Mobile Phones

As a consideration to other patrons, please switch mobile phones and pagers off during performances.

Standing in Seats

Anyone who has purchased a seat should be considerate of other people, so please don’t stand in your seat, because the person behind you can’t see. If you continue to stand up after you have been asked to sit, you may be asked to leave the theatre by security.

Zero Tolerance

Be responsible and we can all have fun. Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre has a zero tolerance when it comes to the use of drugs and the abuse of alcohol. Anyone who we believe is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will be asked to leave the Centre or be subject to police action.


Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the SEC.

Dress Code

Remember… be cool but be tidy. Anyone who visits the SEC dressed in bare feet, dirty clothes, inappropriate or offensive clothing or t-shirts will not be let in. We also can’t let you wear fashion hats, hoods, caps or headgear (excluding religious garments) into our theatres.
