A Feast of Entertainment for You and Your Friends!

Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre is delighted to present its 2019 Season of six Morning Matinee shows. There’s definitely something for everyone.

In addition to six fabulous shows, there are eight great reasons to attend Morning Matinees at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre:

  1. One Ticket Free: If you purchase tickets to five shows you get the sixth show ticket for free.
  2. Free Morning Tea: Come along and enjoy a complimentary morning tea before each show.
  3. Meet New People: It’s a great way to meet new people and socialise with your friends.
  4. Accessibility: Our Auditorium has plenty of wheelchair spaces and accessible seating, and is equipped with an induction hearing loop.
  5. Dedicated Parking: Our southern carpark will be reserved for patrons attending Morning Matinees on presentation of a valid show ticket (parking is allocated on a first come, first served basis).
  6. Easy Drop Off/Pick Up Zone: We have a dedicated safe zone near the entrance of the Centre for easy drop-off/pick up.
  7. Encore Dining: We serve a delicious two-course lunch immediately following the show – Member $20 | Regular $22.50
  8. Save with a Membership: if you purchase a Membership you’ll save $5 off Concession prices and $7 off Adult prices for show tickets and $2.50 off dining.

Pirates to Pinafore

Tuesday 19 March | 11am
Musical theatre legend, Philip Gould and international soprano, Alison Jones lead a cast of five to perform songs from all 14 Gilbert & Sullivan musicals in one sensationally fast-paced, hilarious and beautifully sung production. From wonderful musicals such as The Mikado, HMS Pinafore, The Gondoliers, and Pirates of Penzance, the songs speak for themselves… I am a Pirate King, Take A Pair of Sparkling Eyes, Three Little Maids, and many more.

Caruso to Carreras | The Great Tenors

Wednesday 15 May | 11am
Australia’s finest tenor, Roy Best and this country’s most versatile soprano, Alison Jones will perform many of the classic hits such as Be My Love, Nessun Dorma, Time to Say Goodbye, Strangers in Paradise, Loveliest Night of the Year and many more, from the greatest tenors ever to have lived, Pavarotti, Bocelli, Lanza, Domingo, Enrico Caruso and José Carreras. This Girl | Starring Rachael Beck

Rachael Beck’s cabaret show is an enchanting insight into the life of a lady who has been in the limelight since the tender age of 13. We travel with Beck through her formative years, where she was seemingly unbeatable at the local eisteddfods, through to her child prodigy years in Cats, and beyond. With beautiful renditions of classics such as Send in the Clowns, I Dreamed a Dream, and many more.

Evening Stars with Jane Rutter and Peter Cousens

West End musical star, Peter Cousens, and legendary flutist Jane Rutter (Chevalière des Arts et Lettres) join forces to bring you a magical morning of musical romance, performing popular classical pieces and romantic songs by some of the world’s greatest composers including Gershwin, Cole Porter, Massenet, Offenbach, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Ravel, Lehar, Lerner and Loewe, Bernstein and more.

Olivia Magic | The Songs of Olivia Newton-John

Come with us as we celebrate Olivia Newton John’s remarkable career. Hear some of her greatest hits, If Not For You, The Banks of the Ohio, Let Me Be There, I Honestly Love You, Physical, the hits from Grease and many more. Starring recording artist Seona Murley supported by David Cameron on piano, Paul Cengia on drums and Gerard Assi on guitar, with narration by Christopher McKenna.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

You loved them in What’s New Pussycat? Now Melissa Langton and Mark Jones are back to wish you a very Merry Christmas! You’ve never been to a Christmas party quite like this! Bette Midler sipping on the eggnog, while Nat King Cole plays swinging versions of Silent Night and Come All Ye Faithful! Don your Santa hats and strap your tinsel on. It’s going to be a bumpy sleigh ride!
