“Dinkum Assorted”, with a cast of 15 women and a nanny goat (!) is a moving and poignant comedy. The story centres around the women of the remote Australian township of Warrabadanga where the ladies struggle to keep the home fires burning, and the factories operating, while their men are overseas fighting in the Second World War.

Their stories are told through humour, tears, dancing and singing - as they endeavour to keep their beloved “Dinkum Assorted Biscuit Factory” from threatened closure.

Will they be successful in saving their factory? Can they pull together their performance for the War Effort show? Can they cope with 2,000 U.S Airmen who have just been stationed on the outskirts of the town who seem to have lost their mascot goat?!
