The Shoalhaven Business Chamber presents the 37th Annual Shoalhaven Business Awards 2022.

The Shoalhaven Business Chamber presents the Annual Shoalhaven Business Awards 2022 which is celebrating its 37th year. The Shoalhaven Business Awards are about so much more than just winning. They are about recognising and honouring the most outstanding businesses in our great Shoalhaven region.

The Shoalhaven Business Awards 2022 Gala evening will see local businesses be awarded in 16 categories. Eleven categories are aligned with the Business Illawarra which will see winners advance to the finals in the Illawarra Business Awards. There are also four local categories just for the Shoalhaven plus the very prestigious Business of the Year.

As well as the awards portion of the evening, there will be an abundance of local produce to taste, local wines to drink and local talent to enjoy. The theme is ‘Steampunk Going Global’ celebrating the many Shoalhaven Businesses showcasing their wares on the world stage and recognising those who are world class.

The Shoalhaven Business Awards 2022 Gala evening is open to all members of the community and will sell out quickly. We encourage you to purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment. Tables are set for 10 people.

Ticket Refunds, Exchanges and Right of Refusal

The Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre abides by the Live Performance Australia, Code of Practice for the Ticketing of Live Entertainment in Australia. Tickets for a future performance can usually be exchanged for another performance of that show, subject to availability and payment of any ticket price difference. Management has the right to refuse any ticket exchanges. Refunds are generally not available except under exceptional circumstances outlined in the Live Performance Australia Code of Practice for Ticketing. Click here for the Code.

Discounts

BABES IN ARMS
Babies are not generally admitted into shows other than those targeted at children 2-8 yrs. In this case, children under 2 and with an adult will be admitted for free in most cases accordingly. Babes in arms count toward the venue seating capacity under COVID-19 restrictions and must be declared when booking. Please check show page for special conditions that may apply. 

CHILDREN
We love kids here at Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre! When available children aged from 2-18 years can access kids’ discounts. Please check show page for special conditions that may apply.

STUDENTS
If you’re currently studying full time and older than 12 years you’re entitled to our student discount rate. Just remember, the Box Office will ask for proof of full-time study. From time to time, we have other special deals for students so keep a look out for advertising or ask at the Box Office for more details. 

PENSIONER CONCESSION AND SENIORS’ CARD HOLDERS
Discounted prices are available for selected shows for Pensioner Concession Card holders and Seniors’ Card holders. 

CONCESSION DISCOUNTS FOR CHILDREN’S SHOWS
For children’s shows where there is a Student Group price, the concession price only applies to Pensioners and Seniors, a single student/child must pay the regular price. Proof of entitlement must be included when booking and may be requested prior to admission.

UNDER 30 TICKETS
Discounted prices are available for some performances. Refer to the event page on this website for pricing if offered. Tickets are not available online and can only be purchased in person with presentation of identification.

Rights of Entry

COVID-19 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

The Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre is registered as a COVIDSafe venue and requires all patrons to adhere to the related conditions of entry outlined here.

GENERAL RIGHTS OF ENTRY

LATECOMERS
If you arrive late, and the show has already started, there is every chance, depending on the show, that you will be refused entry or you might not be able to go in until there is a break in the program, such as intermission. 

CAMERAS AND RECORDING EQUIPMENT
Due to copyright requirements and to ensure an enjoyable experience for all patrons, cameras and recording equipment are not permitted in the Studio and Auditorium. 

MOBILE PHONES
Out of consideration to the artists and fellow patrons, please switch mobile phones, audible paging devices and alarm watches off while in the Studio and Auditorium. 

STANDING IN SEATS
Anyone who has purchased a seat should be considerate of other people. Please don’t stand in your seat - the person behind you can’t see. If you continue to stand up after you have been asked to sit, you may be asked to leave the theatre by security. 

ZERO TOLERANCE
Be responsible and we can all have fun. Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre has a zero tolerance when it comes to the use of drugs and the abuse of alcohol. Anyone who we believe is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will be asked to leave the Centre or be subject to police action.

SMOKING
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre or within 10 metres of the building. 

DRESS CODE
Remember… be cool but be tidy. Anyone who visits the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre dressed in bare feet, dirty clothes, inappropriate or offensive clothing will not be let in. We also can’t let you wear fashion hats, hoods, caps or headgear (excluding religious garments) into our theatres.
