Our main theatre, the Auditorium, seats an impressive 876 over four levels. Remarkably designed, this theatre offers tremendous viewing from every seat in the house.

This versatile theatre offers several modes to best suit the style of your event. The modern design enables maximum versatility with retractable seating making way for a flat floor capacity of 926 general admission or a formal dinner for 450. The auditorium boasts a full stage and orchestra pit along with state-of-the-art audio, video, and lighting equipment.

• The full auditorium stage is 29 metres wide by 12 metres deep
• The proscenium width is 15 metres with a height of 7 metres 
• Hire of the Auditorium includes use of the dressing rooms, rehearsal spaces, green room*, backstage amenities, and loading dock 
• The stage has a distributed safe working load of 750 kg/m2 with a point load of 450kg/m2. 
• Hearing loop available 
• Box office, catering and local marketing services are also available
  *non-exclusive if Studio is concurrently hired

Dressing Rooms

There are two large dressing rooms for up to 12 people each, plus two small two-person dressing rooms located behind the main theatre stage at stage level. Each dressing room has a shower and toilets, which services both the studio and the main auditorium. There are two more rehearsal/dressing rooms for 8 to 10 people with shower and toilet facilities located on the basement level with easy access to the orchestra pit.

Laundry Facilities

Washing and drying facilities are available and located in the loading dock.

Loading Dock

The loading dock is located on the south side of the building. It is a flat floor loading bay at stage level with easy access to both theatres. The loading dock has an approximate height from the ground of 900mm at the entrance to the dock.
